Remote Access – X2Go
Installation
The installation for X2GO is simple, we recommend going over to their website and reviewing their latest installation documentation.
Please note x2go may be replaced in Q2 2025 for a newer alternative.
Linux:
Linux should be as simple as installing the package ‘x2goclient’ via your distributions package manager.
Windows:
Windows install requires administrative rights.
Mac OS:
Mac OS is more complex and requires an additional package.
- XQuartz (Requires a reboot once installed).
- X2GoClient

Please Select the following settings (As displayed in the screenshot):
